The Class-A floating pump station (Taoyuan No. 1) for the Liugongbu Chenghai emergency water supply project was successfully launched.

A warm breeze blew as the main assembly of the Chenghai emergency water replenishment project's first-level floating pump station (Taoyuan No. 1) was completed. A launching ceremony for the floating pump station was held and successfully concluded. Gu Yongmao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the company; Lü Chunping, Chief Economist; and the head of the Sixth Construction Department attended the launching ceremony. Other attendees included representatives from Yongsheng County Chenghai Protection and Development Co., Ltd., Yunnan Provincial Water Conservancy and Hydropower Survey and Design Research Institute, Kunming Construction Consulting and Supervision Co., Ltd., and all members of the Yunnan Construction Investment Yongsheng Project Command.

At the ceremony, representatives from all parties agreed that the Chenghai emergency water replenishment project was arduous and required concerted efforts to overcome difficulties encountered during project implementation, seek development, and achieve common progress. The successful launch of the first-level floating pump station (Taoyuan No. 1) marked a significant milestone in the Chenghai emergency water replenishment project, laying a solid foundation for the project's water delivery.

The total investment for the entire water replenishment project is approximately 5.5 hundred million yuan, and the total investment for the first-level floating pump station is approximately 2800 ten thousand yuan. As the water intake for the Chenghai water replenishment project, it shoulders the important responsibility of supplying water for the entire project. After being lifted by the secondary and tertiary pump stations, the water will be quickly replenished to Lake Chenghai, laying a solid foundation for the ecological comprehensive management around Chenghai.
