On the afternoon of September 23, the Party branch of the Ninth Engineering Project Department organized a special organizational life meeting on the theme of "Remembering the Initial Aspiration and Fulfilling the Mission" for all Party members in 2019. Gan Yong, member of the company's Party committee and chairman of the trade union, and Xu Yanlu, chief engineer, attended the meeting as ordinary Party members.
At the meeting, the Party branch secretary, on behalf of the Party branch committee, reported on the implementation of the rectification measures from the previous year's organizational life meeting, reported on the situation of the 2019 organizational life meeting, and gave a comprehensive and detailed introduction of the opinions and suggestions put forward by Party members and the masses to the branch committee. Meanwhile, members of the Party branch delivered self-criticism speeches in turn, and other comrades offered criticism and suggestions to each of them. At the meeting, everyone spoke frankly and honestly, conducted criticism and self-criticism in a practical and truthful manner, achieving the goal of "unity-criticism-unity". Evaluation forms were then distributed, and anonymous voting was conducted to evaluate Party members according to four grades: "Excellent," "Qualified," "Basically Qualified," and "Unqualified".
In his concluding remarks, Comrade Gan Yong believed that the Ninth Engineering Department's Party branch organizational life meeting was of high quality, with sufficient preparation before the meeting, standardized meeting procedures, profound analysis by Party members, and sincere criticism. He also put forward three suggestions: adhere to high standards and requirements, and ensure the activities are not slackened; adhere to a problem-oriented approach and earnestly implement rectification measures; and promote a sense of responsibility and complete job responsibilities with high quality.
