On the afternoon of March 23, the company's Party Committee held a 2017 annual Party branch secretary's work report and evaluation meeting in the fifth-floor meeting room. Party branch secretaries from various levels attended the meeting and gave reports. Company Party Secretary Xu Bo, General Manager Cui Yongzhi, and other leadership members attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the secretaries of the grassroots project department party branches summarized their work in strengthening grassroots party building, including the implementation of the company's "2017 Annual Grassroots Party Building Work Target Accountability System Responsibility Letter," the normalization and institutionalization of the "Two Studies, One Action" learning education, the implementation of the company's Party Committee's "Grassroots Party Building Improvement Year" deployment requirements and key tasks, and the in-depth study and publicity of the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. They also pointed out shortcomings and future plans, and made commitments to improvement. The company's Party secretary, based on his understanding and pre-meeting inspections, commented on each secretary's report. Other members of the leadership team also commented based on their work responsibilities. On-site assessments were also conducted among the attendees.

Party Secretary Xu Bo affirmed the reports and made four requests: First, strengthen the Party's governance and discipline; party branch secretaries must fulfill their responsibilities, actively identify shortcomings, and make improvements. Second, the requirements for party branch secretaries include: publicizing the company's various decisions, deployments, development requirements, and the Party's guidelines and policies; studying political theories and professional knowledge; strictly prohibiting illegal and disciplinary violations; strengthening the education, management, and supervision of Party members; strictly enforcing Party discipline; improving the quality of Party members; maintaining close ties with the masses; implementing the opinions and suggestions of the masses; protecting the interests of the masses; correctly guiding and carrying out ideological work among the masses; strictly regulating the procedures for developing Party members; supervising and restraining Party members and cadres in observing laws and disciplines; resisting unhealthy tendencies; resolutely combating violations of laws and crimes; strengthening the Party organization's own construction; doing a good job in mass organizations' work; strengthening team building and talent team building; comprehensively strengthening Party discipline; doing a good job in maintaining stability and fulfilling the "dual responsibilities"; Third, strengthen the business skills of party branch secretaries, focusing on practical results; Fourth, strengthen the ability building of party branch secretaries to promote the company's brand building and create a sustainable development team.
