On the eve of New Year's Day in 2018, we received an urgent notice from the client that the relocation of the specified equipment from the old factory area to the new factory area in Majinpu for the TCM factory project of the Fifth Engineering Department must be completed during the New Year's Day production shutdown. To give the client a satisfactory answer on time, the Fifth Engineering Department organized all male employees in Kunming and Majinpu into three groups: equipment dismantling, equipment transportation, and equipment installation and commissioning. The three groups worked together to complete the task as quickly as possible.
This relocation involved more than 60 pieces of equipment. The equipment was large, numerous, and complicated to disassemble and assemble, with high transportation risks and requirements. In particular, the equipment in the packaging workshop contained a lot of glass and stainless steel products, requiring even higher protection measures for the relocation work.
To boost morale and ensure the safety and quality of the relocation work, the department manager also came to the site to coordinate and direct the relocation work, and arranged a person in charge at both the old and new factory areas to be responsible for coordinating the relocation work on site.
Each time the disassembly and installation was completed in the old factory area, the colleagues waiting in the new factory area were notified immediately. Each time the estimated arrival time was approaching, the colleagues in the new factory area would ask about the transportation situation in advance to prepare for the relocation site in advance and ensure the smooth progress of the relocation work. In addition, both sides would communicate and exchange information in the department's WeChat group, sharing their respective work situations to take preventive measures against unexpected situations as early as possible.
After three days of joint efforts during the New Year's Day holiday, the relocation of the specified equipment for the TCM factory project has been completed safely as required by the client, and has received positive feedback from the client.
