Following the successful bid for the Dali Sewage Sludge Plant EPC general contracting project, on December 15, 2017, the company, together with the China Municipal Engineering North China Design and Research General Institute Co., Ltd., formed a consortium to participate in the bidding for the Jinan Municipal Environmental Protection Solid Waste Comprehensive Treatment Center Expansion and Reconstruction Design and Construction General Contracting (EPC) project and successfully won the bid. This project is the largest solid waste treatment project in China, making up for the company's shortcomings in EPC general contracting projects for environmental governance outside the province, taking its production and operation to a new level, and marking a new milestone for the company in the field of environmental governance and construction engineering.
The Jinan solid waste treatment EPC general contracting project covers an area of approximately 85,835㎡, with a construction area of 35,860.7㎡ (calculated floor area ratio not less than 60,207㎡), a total investment of 533.72 million yuan, and a bid price of 414.14158 million yuan. The waste disposal scale is 162,000 t/a, mainly handling hazardous waste generated in Jinan and its surrounding areas. The project will be constructed in two phases according to the principle of phased construction based on a single plan: ① Phase 1: incineration treatment of 99,000 t/a; ② Phase 2: incineration treatment of 33,000 t/a, physicochemical treatment of 30,000 t/a.
The project bidding received strong support from Chairman Gu Yongmao and General Manager Cui Yongzhi. The two leaders visited Jinan many times to have in-depth discussions and cooperation agreements with the client. The Second Engineering Department and the Market Operation Department worked closely together, keeping pace with the national environmental governance and construction, breaking through and expanding the market, adding a strong stroke to the company's leapfrog development.
