To ensure production safety and minimize the damage caused by various accidents, a fire drill was conducted on June 21st at the Baoshan Liao Guanyuan and Shen Guanyuan shanty town renovation project of the Seventh Engineering Project Department. The drill was supervised by Li Jinning, Party Secretary of the Seventh Engineering Project Department, and Liu Pengfei, the on-site commander. More than 36 employees from various departments and teams of the project participated in the fire drill.
The fire drill consisted of two parts. The first part simulated a fire in the on-site office and warehouse of Building 6 in Shen Guanyuan. After the fire started, the Baoshan shanty town renovation project department immediately initiated an emergency response, conducting rescue activities such as evacuation, fire extinguishing, personnel rescue, and material salvage to improve the overall emergency response and practical experience in fire fighting.
The second part involved Feng Zhijin, the safety supervisor, demonstrating the use of dry powder fire extinguishers to all personnel. Through watching the demonstration and hands-on practice, everyone became familiar with and proficient in using the fire-fighting equipment.
The entire drill lasted 40 minutes. After the drill, Li Jinning, the Party Secretary, delivered a summary speech, announcing the successful completion of the exercise. He urged all participants to carefully summarize the experience, further strengthen their awareness of fire safety, enhance their knowledge of fire safety, and remain calm and handle emergencies properly when encountering sudden fires.
Safety Supervisor Feng Zhijin organized fire safety knowledge training, and Quality Manager Tao Gang organized the study and dissemination of the company's quality documents.
Zhen Fangyun, the dedicated safety officer, reported to Liu Pengfei, the on-site commander, that preparations were complete and requested the commencement of the drill.
