Strengthening defenses through practice - The company organized a safety accident emergency drill

To comprehensively improve the level of intrinsic safety, to effectively carry out the company's safety management and emergency response work, and to continuously optimize and improve the accident emergency rescue system, the requirements of the "Safety Production Month" activities are fully implemented. On the afternoon of June 26, the company organized cadres and employees from various functional departments and grassroots units to conduct mechanical injury accident emergency drills and fire emergency evacuation drills at the industrial worker center base. Company Vice General Manager Rui Tieming attended the event and gave a mobilization speech. Relevant leaders from Fengning Street Office, the street office fire rescue team, and Kunjian Road community also participated in this activity.

This mechanical injury accident emergency drill simulated a scenario where an operator was using a cutting machine to cut angle steel. During the operation, the grinding wheel suddenly shattered, and fragments splashed onto the lower leg, causing massive bleeding; the fire emergency drill simulated a scenario where a welder, while welding on site, failed to clean up nearby flammable items as required, and welding spatter fell onto flammable materials, causing a fire.

After receiving the instructions from the overall activity commander, the participants quickly entered their roles, worked in accordance with the drill plan, and carried out emergency and rescue work in an orderly manner, strictly reporting the accident situation level by level according to the company's accident reporting procedures. At the same time, various rescue teams performed their respective duties and promptly evacuated the masses to safe locations.

The drill lasted more than an hour. The entire drill process was well-organized, with participants working closely together and executing efficiently, successfully completing the drill tasks. The activity also invited the captain of the street office fire brigade to explain the usage, precautions, and safety knowledge of fire equipment and facilities on-site, and led everyone in on-site practice.

After the drill, the emergency commander summarized and evaluated the drill process. The drill received high praise, with the assessment that the preparations were thorough, the organization was orderly, and the results were significant, achieving the expected goals.

This drill further tested the feasibility of the company's emergency plan and measures, and improved the ability of cadres and employees to respond to emergencies, coordinate command, and handle on-site situations.
