The No. 10 Engineering Project Department's Qujing Liangjiangkou Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrading and Expansion Project officially commenced water supply.

3 On August 29, the first water purification plant of the Liangjiangkou Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrading and expansion project in Qujing City, undertaken by the Tenth Engineering Project Department, officially commenced operation, marking the project's smooth entry into the preliminary acceptance phase. Wang Hongxing, Deputy General Manager of Qujing City Investment Group and Chairman of Qujing City Water Investment Co., Ltd., and Xu Yanlu, Member of the Party Committee and Chief Engineer of the company, attended the water commissioning ceremony.

Wang Hongxing and Xu Yanlu, along with their team, went deep into the construction site, carefully inspecting the specific conditions of key processes and important aspects of the project, such as the biological reaction pool, sludge thickening pool, denitrification deep bed filter pool, and ultraviolet disinfection channel. They attentively listened to the project manager's detailed report on the project overview, safety management, and quality control.

Since the project commenced, the project department's management team has closely followed the nodal objectives, meticulously organized, rationally planned, and scientifically deployed, establishing stringent quality, safety, and construction schedule plans. During project implementation, the project department continuously optimized the construction scheme, focusing on resolving difficulties and bottlenecks, and steadily and orderly carrying out various construction works, ultimately successfully completing the water commissioning task.

It is understood that the Qujing Liangjiangkou Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrading and expansion project has a treatment capacity of 130,000 m ³ /d Among them, the wastewater treatment plant upgrading project (biological treatment unit) has a treatment capacity of 80,000 m ³ /d ³, and the expansion project (pre-treatment + biological treatment unit) has a treatment capacity of 50,000 m ³ /d ³, while the expansion project (deep treatment unit) has a treatment capacity of 130,000 m ³ /d ³. The project mainly adopts a semi-underground construction method. The main process section of the wastewater treatment process adopts the "improved AAO bioreactor + rectangular peripheral inflow and outflow secondary sedimentation tank + magnetic high-efficiency sedimentation tank + denitrification deep bed filter" technology.
