12 On September 29th at 9:30 am, the Yongde (Lianziqiao) to Gengma (Mengjian) Expressway - Yongde Connector, constructed by the Third Engineering Project Department, was officially opened to traffic.

The Yongde Connector has an operational length of 15.618 kilometers, built to the standard of a two-way four-lane expressway with a design speed of 60 km/h, a roadbed width of 20 meters, and seamlessly connecting to the S313 Provincial Highway and the Yongde Interchange. The company's construction scope includes the Yongde Connector YDK4+917-YDK15+762, Interchange K52+065-K54+090, mainly involving the construction of tunnel electromechanical works, tunnel ventilation, tunnel fire protection, traffic safety facilities, tunnel power supply and distribution, monitoring system, communication system, toll collection system, and fire protection system.

The opening of the Yongde Connector not only lays a solid foundation for the completion of the Yongmeng Expressway but also brings a new transportation artery to Yongde County, greatly improving local traffic conditions, providing convenient and quick transportation for surrounding residents, accelerating transportation efficiency, saving travel costs, further promoting local economic development, and strengthening regional connections.
