120-Day Battle: Kunyu Expressway Niulian Toll Interchange Reconstruction and Expansion Project Successfully Opens to Traffic

The Kunyu Expressway Niulian Toll Station Interchange Reconstruction and Expansion Project, participated in by the Third Engineering Project Department, held a commissioning ceremony at 9:30 am on December 8th at the station. It officially opened for trial operation at 10:00 am on the same day.

The Jinning Niulian Interchange, as the only highway interchange entrance and exit in Shangsuan Town, plays a vital role in connecting the up and down lines of the Kunyu Expressway. The project's implementation is of great significance to the development of the Shangsuan Town area in Jinning District. This reconstruction and expansion project includes 3 entrance lanes and 4 exit lanes, greatly alleviating traffic congestion and chaos at the original toll station, laying a solid foundation for the development of Shangsuan Town, and fully meeting the needs of regional planning and development and traffic functions.

The design concept of the Niulian toll station is based on "Dance · Dian Music", further showcasing the profound historical and cultural heritage of the ancient Dian Kingdom, following the "Appreciation" of the Fuyu Toll Station and the "Music" of the Hexi Factory Toll Station. The sculpture decoration on the canopy roof adopts the shapes of the "Four Oxen Clasp" and "Three Peacocks Clasp" from the Western Han Dynasty, symbolizing a bountiful harvest and auspiciousness, and aligning with the beautiful vision of the ancient Dian people using "dance" for sacrifices, prayers, welcoming guests, and praying for good weather.

Since the start of the Niulian toll station project, all participating personnel of the project department have actively responded to the company's call, earnestly implemented the group's high requirements and standards of "guaranteeing four aspects, controlling one aspect, and establishing one aspect", and through meticulous preliminary planning and orderly construction organization, completed the Niulian toll station reconstruction and expansion project in 45 days, successfully completing another important node of the Kunyu Expressway reconstruction and expansion project.
