Lu-Mi Expressway (Phase II) Completed and Opened to Traffic

The Lu-Mi Expressway (Phase Two) is a provincial 2019 year county-level expressway " Full Coverage ” key project. The total length of the line is 22.477 kilometers. The starting point is located at the border between Luxi and Shizong counties, and the end point is located on the south slope of Jiangtou Village, east of Luxi County (Zhonghu Town), connecting with the starting point of Phase One of the Lu-Mi Expressway. The main line of the project is constructed to the standard of a two-way four-lane expressway, with a design speed of 80 kilometers / per hour, and an overall roadbed width of 25.5 meters. There are 21 bridges (single-span) along the entire line, with a bridge ratio of 27.11% ，interchanges 2 (Baishui Interchange, Baishuitan Interchange), and culverts 49 The total investment of the project is 19.93 billion yuan.

The Lu-Mi Expressway is a component of the Yunnan Provincial Expressway Network planning, the longitudinal line from Qilin District, Qujing City — Luxi County, Honghe Prefecture, and the transverse Yimen — Mile Expressway. It is also the backbone network of the Honghe Prefecture Expressway Planning Network, and the central artery connecting the east, west, south, and north of Luxi County. The project is constructed in two phases. Phase One was opened to traffic on 2017 year 11 Month 10 Day. Phase Two started construction on 2017 year 10 Month 12 Day and 2019 year 12 Month 25 Day, the project was completed and accepted. Since the implementation of the project, all participating units have coordinated and planned various tasks, organized scientifically, increased the input of machinery, construction personnel, and materials, effectively solved difficulties and problems, ensured the construction progress, adhered to the quality red line, ensured construction safety, and completed the opening-to-traffic target ahead of schedule.
