Comrade Gu Yongmao gave a Party lecture and conducted a comprehensive survey at the Second Construction Department

　　On August 1, Comrade Gu Yongmao, member of the company's Party committee and chairman of the board, delivered a thematic Party lecture on "Staying True to Our Founding Mission" at the Second Engineering Department and conducted a comprehensive investigation. Shi Bin, member of the company's Party committee and head of the Party Work Department, participated in the investigation.

　　Comrade Gu Yongmao, combining his personal experiences and insights into the changing times, vividly described how the Chinese Communist Party's adherence to the principle of "Staying True to Our Founding Mission" has brought earth-shaking changes to the country's prosperity and national rejuvenation. He used his experiences at different stages of his life, including the difficulties he faced and his unwavering belief, to illustrate the process of a common Party member's growth on the path of struggle. Chairman Gu's lecture covered four aspects: his understanding of important theoretical works; the shortcomings he identified in his work, life, and study; his ideas and measures to promote work; and his insights into the founding mission. This provided important guidance on how everyone can continuously reflect on themselves, innovate, and improve their ideological awareness and work and study.

　　During the investigation, Chairman Gu carefully listened to the attendees' reports and analyses of the problems facing the department, including an overall decline in technology, financial difficulties, weak cohesion, insufficient internal management, and the inadequate role of Party members as pioneers and models. In response to the problems and difficulties of the Second Engineering Department, Comrade Gu Yongmao put forward targeted requirements: First, correctly face the problems, conduct in-depth analysis, find corresponding measures, and assign responsibilities; Second, unify thinking and work together, especially to give full play to the initiative of employees; Third, Party members should effectively play their role, focus on their own work, strengthen learning, and play an exemplary role as pioneers and models; Fourth, break down tasks one by one, do a good job of debt collection, handle settlements, and promptly settle accounts with the finance department to reduce capital occupancy; Fifth, find the right direction and methods for market operations, enhance core competitiveness, and strengthen internal control management.
