The groundbreaking ceremony for the Taian City Solid Waste Comprehensive Treatment Center construction project was held.

　　

 

　　At 11:00 am on June 20, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Taian City Solid Waste Comprehensive Treatment Center construction project, undertaken by the company, was held. The first pile was driven under the witness of relevant units, marking the official entry of the project into the construction phase. Attendees of the groundbreaking ceremony included representatives from Feicheng Municipal Party Committee, Municipal Government, Municipal Development and Reform Bureau, Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, Municipal Planning Bureau, Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, the local Lao Cheng Town Government, as well as owners, general contractors, and specialized subcontractors.

 

　　The project is located in the Lao Cheng Town Industrial Park, Feicheng City, Taian City, Shandong Province. The construction scale is 50,000 t/a of harmless treatment and disposal of hazardous waste (including 42,000 t/a of primary waste). The construction content includes incineration treatment, physicochemical treatment, waste storage, wastewater treatment, and supporting auxiliary production and life management facilities. The construction land covers approximately 94.5 mu. It is newly built by Taian Tengyue Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., invested by Yunnan Water Affairs Holding. After completion, the project will mainly handle hazardous waste generated in Taian City and its surrounding areas. This project is jointly undertaken by the company and China Municipal Engineering North China Design and Research General Institute Co., Ltd., with a contract duration of 400 days and a tentative total price of 171.8877 million yuan.

　　The project was publicly tendered on December 19, 2016, and the general contract was signed on February 23, 2017. In the six months since the project team entered the site, it has been unable to start construction normally due to various factors such as site demolition and clearance, drawings, construction power supply, and owner's approval and preparation. After receiving the project progress report, General Manager Cui Yongzhi, Deputy General Manager Yang Pengyong, and other leaders visited the project twice to provide guidance. The project team also worked tirelessly between the owner and the local government, coordinating with multiple parties. Finally, through the efforts of all parties, the project has made further progress and successfully held the groundbreaking ceremony.

　　It is difficult to develop the market, and it is even more difficult to consolidate the market. With the strong support of the company, the project team remains confident and will overcome difficulties and forge ahead, vowing to establish the reputation of "Yunnan Construction Investment" in Qilu Land and "Yunnan Second Installation" in the west of Mount Tai, further consolidating the municipal solid waste treatment sector and opening up new markets for the company.
