Thanks to the arduous efforts of all the employees of the project department, the construction of the Yunnan PetroChina Kunlun Gas Pipeline Installation Project in Qidian and Yunlv sections has entered the final stage. As of the 13th of this month, 299 cutoff walls have been completed in the Qidian section and 204 in the Yunlv section. More than 20 retaining walls have been completed, totaling more than 4,000 cubic meters. It is planned to complete the construction of more than 10,000 cubic meters of masonry cutoff walls and retaining walls along the entire line within two months.
Since the start of construction in December 2015, this project has been affected by many factors, resulting in multiple work stoppages. Since resuming work after the Spring Festival this year, the project department has mainly carried out work such as the transportation of water conservancy protection materials, water conservancy protection construction, and pipeline pressure testing.

Pipeline pressure testing has been underway for nearly four months. Due to malicious damage to the pipeline (someone used professional tools to drill holes), the pipeline pressure test work has been greatly hampered. Most of the pipelines have been backfilled, and it is necessary to check each section of the pipeline one by one to determine whether there are multiple points of damage. The pipeline section from QD28 pile to YL23 pile is 4.388 kilometers long. After more than three months of investigation by the project department personnel, more than ten damaged points were found, and the damaged pipelines were replaced. Currently, the water pressure test is underway for this section of the pipeline, and it is expected that the water pressure test for this section will be completed in a week.

The cutoff walls and retaining walls are scattered, the front line is long, and the construction is greatly affected by the terrain of the work points. Since the construction team entered the site on April 6, 2017, multiple teams, multiple work points, and multiple equipment have been used for construction, enabling the steady progress of the project.
