The 10th Engineering Project Department of the Qujing Medical Center conducted a fire safety emergency drill.

To thoroughly implement the "Safety Production Month" activity plan and strengthen safety and emergency education for on-site management personnel, on June 18, the Tenth Engineering Project Department's Qujing Medical Center construction project organized a fire safety emergency drill.

At the activity site, the project safety officer gave a presentation on fire safety knowledge, emergency self-rescue and mutual rescue techniques, escape and evacuation skills, and methods for fighting initial fires; demonstrated the correct use of fire extinguishers, and the operation procedures for smoke-proof escape masks and other fire-fighting equipment. The drill then began, simulating a scenario where construction workers, during welding, caused sparks to ignite nearby flammable materials, resulting in a rapidly spreading fire and trapped personnel, with two injured workers awaiting rescue. Upon receiving the fire report, the emergency team members quickly reported the specific situation, urgently activated the fire emergency plan, organized security at the accident site, and guided personnel to evacuate to a safe area. The rescue team quickly responded to the injuries caused by the accident and carried out rescue work according to the emergency plan and division of labor. The entire drill was tense and orderly, with good coordination among personnel and effective emergency rescue, achieving the expected results.

This drill further improved the emergency response capabilities and fire safety awareness of the project department's management personnel. The Tenth Engineering Project Department will use this drill as an opportunity to continuously strengthen fire safety management, build a strong "firewall" of safety awareness, and lay a solid foundation for the stable development of safe production at the construction site.
